The Gaylord is located eight miles north of Washington, D.C. and is accessible from I-495 and I-295. It may not register on GPS, so please consult the most current driving directions.
Airports
Gaylord National is just a 15-minute drive from Reagan National Airport (DCA) and a 45-minute drive from both Dulles Airport(IAD) and Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI). Metro Bus
The Gaylord National Resort is not directly connected to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority by the METRO rail system, but is accessible by the METRO bus system. For bus schedules, route maps and current prices, please visit the WMATA website.
Taxi & Uber
Taxi, UBER, and Lyft services are available to any location in and around the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
Water Taxi
The Potomac Riverboat Company offers regular water taxi service from the Gaylord National’s pier to points in Arlington, Va., and Washington, D.C. For more information, please contact them online.
Parking
Parking is available in the hotel parking garage and guests of the Gaylord will receive a $5 discount off the daily self-parking rate. Additional parking is available in the harbor.
