About AMU’s Online Bachelor’s Degree Program in Artificial Intelligence

The Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence program prepares you to develop custom AI systems that solve real problems across various industries. Courses examine the foundations of machine learning and natural language processing, and students discuss the ongoing evolution of AI technology.

This program is designed to serve students at all skill levels, from those with no coding experience to advanced programmers. As learners study AI fundamentals, coursework gradually introduces programming languages and software development best practices. Students gain career-relevant skills as they learn how to leverage artificial intelligence for a wide range of applications.

The curriculum centers on hands-on learning, with virtual lab exercises that simulate real-world scenarios AI professionals must be prepared to navigate. Courses also engage learners in thought-provoking discussions about the ethical considerations surrounding artificial intelligence usage, from job displacement to data privacy concerns.

American Military University has entered a licensing agreement with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (MIT CSAIL). AI majors will complete two MIT CSAIL courses: ARIN210 Machine Learning in Business and ARIN211 User Experience Design.

While this bachelor’s degree program does not award any professional certifications, AMU’s program may be helpful in preparing to earn AI certifications.
