Revocation or Denial of Degree
American Military University awards academic credit, certificates, and degrees to recognize that a student has met all academic and institutional requirements in place at the time of award. In rare circumstances, the University may deny or revoke academic credit, a certificate, or a degree if it is later determined that these requirements were not met or if new information becomes available that would have affected the original decision.
Reasons for Denial or Revocation
Denial or revocation is uncommon but may occur for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Administrative or academic error
- Fraud, misrepresentation, or falsification of records
- Violation of University Polices that are serious enough that, had they been known earlier, the academic credit or credential would not have been awarded
